Paul Groot better than Willem Nijholt
Although the staging is a bit more explicit than in the original performance, Paul Groot plays the role of Cole Porter less over the top than Willem Nijholt did at the time. Unfortunately, the lead actress was plagued by voice problems, but that was well taken care of by the cast.

excellent, inspiring, moving
I've seen quite a few musicals in New York and London and came to this show with the prejudice that that quality would not be achieved in the Netherlands. I seemed to be right for a moment when the show started 7 minutes late, which results in fines, but luckily that's all. I was more than wrong and watched and listened to this performance with admiration. There must have been mistakes and carelessness but they disappeared with the momentum and enthusiasm with which the entire group operated. Highly recommended!
