Van Morrison

Van Morrison's songs have been a part of my life since the 1960s, but I had never gone to a concert until 2021. The first two concerts in London were really good, but the third in Amsterdam was an expensive disappointment, and the fourth in The Hague made it up and more. It took him a while to build up his voice, and I can understand why he had to protect it because of his age. He always has very experienced band members and they were very supportive. I was also thrilled to hear a good mix of older and new songs, and he can still sing R&B, Jazz, and Rock and Roll to the fullest, although a bit more limited than before. I did get the feeling that he might perform less in the coming years, so that's why I went to this concert and I'm really glad I was there.
