A legend admires, with integrity and beauty. Too bad he felt so bad but what a hero with a wonderful repertoire. Afas was ok, little atmosphere and everything expensive, but apparently that's part of such a huge hall. Een legende bewondert, integer en mooi. Jammer dat hij zich zo slecht voelde maar wat een held met prachtig repertoire. Afas was ok, weinig sfeer en alles duur, maar dat hoort blijkbaar bij zon enorme zaal.

I think it's really ridiculous that I'm paying €290 for two tickets on July 14. These tickets will be emailed on November 7 (10 days before the concert) and it turns out... The tickets originally cost €93 each. The name is also wrong. I really think this is wrongdoing. How is it possible for a company to do this? Ik vind het echt belachelijk dat ik op 14 juli €290 betaal voor twee kaartjes. Deze kaartjes worden op 7 november (10 dagen voor het concert) gemaild en wat blijkt..... De kaartjes kostten oorspronkelijk €93 per stuk. Ook de naam klopt niet. Ik vind dit echt wanpraktijken. Hoe is het mogelijk dat een bedrijf dit kan doen??

The support act is fine but I don't think that's of added value to the concert. Het voorprogramma is prima maar ik vind dat niet van toegevoegde waarde voor het concert.

Sting had to cancel his concert at AFAS after an hour of singing. Of course, it can happen that you get sick and have to cancel your work - in this case a concert. After some Googling, however, I see that Sting often has voice problems, cancels concerts more often and still schedules a lot of gigs around the world every year. I don't think that's a convenient approach. Actually, a bit unprofessional. A top artist should know their own limits. On the way back on the train to Friesland, we met people from Israel who, of course, had come to Amsterdam separately for this concert. Their ticket remains valid and they can go to a replacement concert. But were they so happy there anymore? Why aren't they getting their money back? Sting moest zijn concert bij AFAS na een uurtje zingen afbreken. Natuurlijk kan het gebeuren dat je ziek wordt en je werk - in dit geval een concert - af moet breken. Na wat googelen zie ik echter dat Sting vaker stemproblemen heeft, vaker concerten afzegt en toch jaarlijks heel veel optredens inplant over de hele wereld. Dat lijkt me geen handige aanpak. Eigenlijk zelfs wat onprofessioneel. Een topartiest hoort zijn eigen grenzen te kennen. Op de terugweg in de trein naar Friesland kwamen we mensen uit Israël tegen die nota bene apart voor dit concert naar Amsterdam waren gekomen. Hun ticket blijft geldig en ze mogen naar een vervangend concert. Maar of ze daar zo blij meer waren? Waarom krijgen ze hun geld niet terug?
