Despite the organizational issues, Empeiria was definitely an experience! Yes, parking was a tragedy, the queues for the food trucks were extremely long, there were too few toilets and getting off the site and taking the shuttle bus was almost impossible, but in my opinion, all of that is in stark contrast to the fantastic concert, culminating in Ludovico Einauidi, of course. We enjoyed it!

The concert was wonderful, unfortunately only a lot of spectators thought you could walk in and out for snacks and drinks during the concert. This was very disruptive, both for spectators and most likely for the musicians - a lack of respect and education... The lady did stop people waiting for applause, but some were so bold that they just walked by. The peace and quiet you would expect at a classic concert was not present. The queues to get drinks and snacks were so long that we didn't eat anything. There also seemed to be a spotlight at eye level, it was intended for the stage but it was at eye level and shone in the face. The way it is now set up, I would not buy a ticket for next year, even though the concert was wonderful. Suggestion: let Frits Sissing tell the house rules in the announcement that you will only get up from your seat during the concert in an emergency. And provide more outlets for drinks and snacks to prevent long waiting times.
