One of my first LPs was a version of the Carmina Burana. After all these years, the piece of music continues to fascinate. The performance in Arnhem by the International Symphony Orchestra INSO Lviv was breathtaking. The spectacular piece was performed in a very disciplined manner under the direction of Raymond Janssen. Amazing how this guy had everyone on strings! An additional bonus was that a group of musicians from devastated Ukraine can tell us this. Eén van mijn eerste LPs was een uitvoering van de Carmina Burana. Na al die jaren blijft het muziekstuk boeien. De uitvoering in Arnhem door het International Symphony Orchestra INSO Lviv was adembenemend. Het spectaculaire stuk werd zeer gedisciplineerd uitgevoerd onder leiding van Raymond Janssen. Fantastisch hoe deze man iedereen aan touwtjes had ! Extra bijkomstigheid was dat een groep musici uit het geteisterde Oekraïne ons dit kunnen meegeven.

I expected an orchestra with a choir, not a music band with a ballet group. The announcement also said that the performance would last 135 minutes, but we were already outside after 75 minutes! And that for more than 100 euro pp. Very unfortunate!! Ik verwachte een orkest met koor, niet een muziekband met een balletgroep. Ook stond in de aankondiging dat de voorstelling 135 minuten zou duren, maar we stonden na 75 minuten al weer buiten! En dat voor ruim 100 euro pp. Erg jammer!!

Far too expensive cards. Veel te dure kaarten.

The tickets at TopTicketShop are far too expensive! Dozens of euros cheaper elsewhere. De kaarten bij TopTicketshop zijn veel te duur! Elders tientallen euros goedkoper.
